Holiday Fair @ The Art Garage December 7th & 8th

Please join me at the Holiday Fair on December 7th  5:00pm -and 8th, 12:00 pm- at “The Art Garage” located 1400 Cedar Street, Green Bay Wisconsin!  Look for me at table #8, there will be 22 vendors with handcrafted goods, a free make and take project stations, Door Prizes, complimentary food and beverages, and three FREE workshop gift certificate giveaways!

Here’s a peek of my art studio during the July Art Tour at the iMAGiNETHAT! Art Studio. I hope to see you in October!

Location: From Hwy 51 five miles north of Woodruff, turn west on Airport Rd. The studio is 1.2 miles north of Lakeland Airport, off North Farming Road, the first driveway on Bayer Lake Road.

During the July Northwoods Art Tour, I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people that traveled from Chicago, Milwaukee, the Twin Cities and Canada!

I definitely couldn’t have successfully participated in this art tour without the help of my wonderful friend and my fantastic husband!

My goal is to create artwork that beckons to both the viewer’s eye and sense of touch.

I was honored to receive an award through the participation of the Range Art Association for my original hand pulled print titled “On The Rocks”.

During the Art Tour, I created and demonstrated the art of Intaglio Printmaking. I printed a series of small original hand pulled prints titled “Symphony of Leaves”. The series consists of about 20,  4″x 6″ prints, printed on Rives BFK paper.

The studio began taking on a nautical theme once I began wrapping the metal support poles with nautical rope.  From that point on, the nautical and beach like atmosphere seemed to be the perfect theme to showcase my artwork.

Small original Intaglio etchings are hooked onto fishnets, offering studio guests a selection of original prints to snatch up as the move through out the studio.

Camp Timberlane Campers visit iMAGiNETHAT! Art Studio

I look forward to visiting the campers in the near future, when stop in at Wildwood Park and Zoo this Summer.  I look forward to sharing my knowledge of Munsey and Boda  the two Kodiak bears.

I’d also like to thank all the other guests that have come to my art studio this weekend!  I was thrilled to have returning guests!  We chatted about the conversations we had last year and learned more about each other during their second visitation at the studio.

Diversity Abound!

The artwork showcased at the iMAGiNETHAT Art Studio ranges from abstract paper sculptures, charcoal drawings and original prints and collages to more realistic compositions of feathers, leaves and dragonflies.

There are original prints and mixed media that represent the more tech savvy personality. These compositions are created from segments of computer hardware and have titles that captures the essence of  the materials and/or process of which they are created from, for example; Netscape and Etched In Time.DSC_0106

If you love bears, I have some wonderful greeting cards, coasters, photographs and photographic books of  Kodiak bear cubs.

Artwork-Honoring Autism

My wonderful daughter has been a line therapist working with autistic children for the past six years.  In honor of her work and those families and friends touched by autism, I’ve created a new series titled ” Leap Of Faith” which is inspired by my daughters dedication and love for children with autism. These images are as framed collages and  greeting cards at the iMAGiNETHAT! Art Studio (#12 on the brochure tour map) during the 2017 Northwoods Art Tour on July 28th,29th and 30th.
